1234 Carngham - Lake Goldsmith Road
Lake Goldsmith VIC 3373
(directions)
All exhibitor entries and departures will be off Cheeseman’s Road past the loading ramp area and through the gate at the north western end of the parade circuit.
Casual exhibitors bringing exhibits will be given entry/passes on arrival.
There will be NO camping in the carparks. Casual Camping for this rally will be on open area at Mt Buckwell. (south east corner of the rally grounds). Due to space limitations minimum rudimentary (that is very basic!) unpowered camp sites are available at the rally ground for EXHIBITORS ONLY from Friday May 3rd. Site size is a maximum of 6mtrs X 6mtrs including car, so please be fair to others by using a minimum area for camping. Other campers need to make their own off-site arrangements.
Please do not camp in other areas as you will be instructed to shift or leave. Example: Northern end of the arena as this area is designated for displays.
The Carpark will be fenced and locked up until the morning of the rally.
The Main Gate off the Carngham – Lake Goldsmith Rd. will not be open from the weekend before the rally. (Enter via Cheesemans Rd.)
Truck and trailer parking will be in the area around the loading ramp and not within the rally ground. We encourage classic trucks etc. to be displayed in the rally ground; however the trailer needs to be disconnected and stored in the trailer park area. Please leave free access to the ramp. Please also leave access to all gates in case of emergency.
Souvenirs, including items and programs from the 100th Rally will be on sale from 9.00am on Saturday.
Committee Members are empowered to act as additional Safety Officers.
The LGSPA Safety Guidelines apply.
The emergency warning siren will be tested around 7.00pm on the Friday of the rally. The siren, when used, will be followed by directions over the public address system, so please pay attention.
The Event Operations Centre (EOC) and information centre will be the Thomson Sound Caravan. This is where you will find the Wardens and Safety officers and is where activities and emergency situations will be controlled from. A copy of the Emergency Management Plan will be available to peruse at the EOC.
